I personally love many things about the Waldorf way, the outdoor play, the soft voices and the simple rituals and routines Rachel has in place for the children to feel safe and comfortable. Matilda loves to play, as many children do, but unlike other schools, she is allowed the freedom to explore in a safe environment independently or with her friends. I think that’s part of why she loves LTH, there is ample room for learning and growing in so many ways. Rachel is so patient and communicates fairly among the children, when at play or if there are disagreements. She has a great ability to give children options and allows them to be heard. I know Matilda responds to her gentle care and interest in what she does at the school.

The Linden Tree House has been a sanctuary for our kiddo the past few years. It’s such a nurturing environment where the children have space to be themselves and flexibility to explore their world. Rachel is a terrific educator in an unassuming way and we are so grateful for the time we’ve already had at the LTH and we hope to keep coming back.
